I never know what I’m walking in to when I’m booked to shoot a Backyard Session - and honestly, that’s part of the joy for me! Sometimes it works out easily, other times I get to stretch my problem solving skills and capture a space that doesn’t immediately scream ‘take photos of me’. This one though - this one was an autumn afternoon filled with waning light, incredible gardens and a family that fully embraced the chaotic, relaxed candid style I love. I walked out of this shoot on a cloud and couldn’t wait to edit the magic moments and share it with them all.
